Holidays!!!!!

Well we are into the last week of the school holidays..the boys are starting to get a bit wrestless now. We spent the weekend at home catching up on those much hated jobs...LOL. Bruno painted the outdoor setting ready for the many BBQ dinners to come...(can't wait). Saturday night we went out for dinner just to the local Club...was nice and all the kids came..finally got together without on of the older ones having something else on....as they are getting older feels like we can never all get together at once..and I so hate that. Sunday I finally got around to painting Sam and Max's bedroom which well overdue...the only hard part was settling on a colour...Sam wanting red and max wanting green...so LOL I had to make the decision and went for a totally different colour Blue..but hey they liked it....they ran off to the bed on Sunday night with no second nags......calling it there new room ....LOL.

So here we are Tuesday already...I have taken a few days of work to spend some time with the kids....Today we are off bowling...should be fun.....stay tuned for some pics..still loving my new camera...Here are some photos of the weekend of my little boy thinking he is all grown up at the restaurant (drinking coke from a wine glass)..the other pic is of him watching Video hits thinking he is a home boy...LOL

New Camera

Its been a long time between posts..but life has just been so hectic.....I am so excited I got a new camera yes finally a new camera my dream has come true.....its a Canon SLR EOS 400...and how I love it. There is so much I need to learn but I am having so much fun playing with it.

Took the kids to the Zoo on the Sunday what a beautiful day..they had so much fun and so did muumy with her new cam....LOL. Certainly have so many pics to scrap.

Today I have the day off from work and took the kids to the local park..yep you guessed it for some more pics......beautiful day here in Melbourne 28 degress.

Ok off to the dreaded washing...

Happy Birthday Mum

Yes Yes I know I have been neglecting my blog again.......I so know this but cant seen to find time although I do spend so much time reading everyone elses. So whats been happening...heaps as usual..my mum turns 81 tomorrow and tonight we went out to celebrate...went to the local chinese shop then all came back to my house to cut the cake...Happy Birthday Mum!!!!!! Loving you to pieces........so can't believe that she is 81 still gets around so well and I am so proud of her.

Was a great test for me and my hubby tonight as we have just given up cigarettes......but all went well and after a couple of drinks neither of us relented.....I have given up a little longer than Bruno but he is on patches at the moment but is doing great....so great to be cigarette free!!!!!!!!!!

What else....kids have all made finals (footy) so happy for all of them....so exciting this time of the year...I just hope they all d0 well. My oldest son Rhys started work last week, for his VCEL, couldn't believe how emotional I was when he came out in his overhalls....he just looked so grown up and manly, lol well you know what I mean.

Unfortunatley I haven't been doing much scrapbooking as I have been so busy at work...but I am missing it like crazy...put this page together a couple of weeks ago..I just love the black cardstock at the moment........

Anyway best be off as I have an early start in morning with footy..here are a few photos of my night out with mum.......also the Layout I finished recently.

Neglecting my Blog

Yes Yes Yes I know I have been neglecting my blog badly. I am making myself a promise that I am not going to let this happen again. I have been so busy and so much has happened since my last entry. My gorgeous son Leigh turned 15 on the 11th of May...so hard to believe that he is 15, sure does start making me feel old.

I have been working flat out at Spotlight and it is that yukky time of the year STOCKTAKE...I think I have been counting in my sleep..LOL...but it is all over now and I will return to part time work after next week..Yipppeeeee.

Boys have been playing footy and all doing well...so love the footy season and watching them play.
It looks like they will all make the finals so that should be really exciting...

Well I finally have done a little scrapbooking which has made me feel alot better....I have missed it so much...and it is so nice to sit at my little space and chill out (even if it is ridiculously late at night).

Anyway must be off as I have just remebered I havent washed football shorts for the boys school footy tomorrow...errrggggg!!!!!!.

Happy Birthday Bruno!!!!!

Today my Bruno (other half) turns 39!!!!!!.........I love you babe have a great day!

So what have I been up too well..footy, footy and yeah tennis oh yeah and cleaning and yeah
house work oh yeah and forgot cooking....LOL...and a little Scrappin as well....
The weeks are just going by so fast cant believe it.......Got heaps of mojo happening but not enough time gotta hate that but thats life.

Did this LO last weekend sort of liked it until I made the mistake in the journalling...errrggggg!!!!!
Geee I hate that when that happens tried to make it look like it was part of the journalling but didnt really work..

Ok of to do the Monday morning washing lots of muddy football stuff!!!! YUKKKO....

Another big Happy Birthday Bruni......love ya heaps and just remember we have our ups and downs (teenagers) but meeting you in the middle is such a wonderful place....LOL just to make you feel better we still have four more sons to become teenagers YET!!!!!

Sams 8th Birthday

Can't believe that Samuel turned 8 today..what a day we had!!!!! I woke up to him yelling out from his bedroom this morning MUM is my birthday today..LOL gotta love 8 year olds....but to be honest I was just as excited...the plan was to take him shopping then out to lunch ON OUR OWN..lol...but his two brother pulled sickies and joined in the fun. Of course we had Macca's for lunch definately couldn't have a birthday without it...After dinner we all went to see Ice Age 2, was fantastic I loved it. So now the day is over and I'm sitting here completely content knowing he had a great day.....Happy Birthday Samuel...I love You!!!!

Hat Parade

I would have to be honest and say that the best thing about not working at the moment is the time I now get to spend doing things with the kids...I just didn't realise how much I miss it!!! On Thursday they had a Hat parade to mark the end of the Commonwealth Games..was so cool to see all these hats that the kids at put together..I had a blast was so much fun.

Now its Easter and not much going on here really....got the big family day tomorrow but apart from the been pretty quiet...So I decided to do this LO of Alex who has been nagging me to death about doing one of him..gee kids are so funny..well I slapped something together yesterday and guess what HE LIKED IT..

Anyway I hope everyone has a very safe and Happy Easter!!!!

Another Round

Another week has gone by and I have neglected my blog once again....I so hate that when I do that...I am going to make a better effort not to do this again LOL.....

So much going on as usual with all these boys and there footy.....first round today and all played great....day started at 10.00 with Ben's match and they won and he played great has gained so much confidence since last year...then Alex's match at 11.30am they also won but buy 100 points and he was disappointed that he didn't play good enough (he is way to hard on him self) he played and awesome match...then it was off the watch Rhys who plays under 17's now is that and exciting match....I get so damn excited..and very vocal, there side only lost by a couple of points was so close I was nearly weeing myself LOL..he kicked five goals....great effort to all my sons so proud of you all!!!!!!!.

Was an exciting week with my scrappin got to emails excepting two Layouts coming up in Scrapbooking Memories......

Am so much wanting to scrap hope I find some time this week.....anyway thats enough for me tonight...but definately will be back here soon.....

Footy!!!!

Well here we go again...footy season is back in our house...having six boys I can tell you it sure does get busy around here!!!!!. Will leave the house tomorrow morning at 8.30am and won't be back until 5.30pm. But in all honesty I love to watch them play.

Did this LO tonight of my sixth son Max...he is just so adorable and feels like yesterday that I had him..he is now 6. Was really happy with this LO until I decided to hand write on it...Oh well not much can do about it now.

Oh well better go got an early start tomorrow.

Another week

The weeks are just flying by so hard to believe that we are already heading towards April.....So whats been happening well the kids are back at school, the house is so quiet, almost miss the noise ummm well sort of until 3.30pm..ha ha. Went to my sisters house last Friday kids had a blast so happy to see each other, don't get to see them often as they live so far away...and those twins are just gorgeous and have grown so much. We had a couple of drinks and lots of laughs, was sure good to catch up...thx Rach for the good day.

Have had this Lay out sitting on my desk all week, just couldn't get my head around this one....not too sure how I feel about the end result..just so glad it is finished....although I love the Scenic Route Papers. I also put this card together very quickly (first attempt at cards) for Benjamins Teacher...she got married over the holidays and he has been nagging and I mean nagging me to make her a card. Every morning for the past week he has wondered out to my scrapbooking desk and sad ohhhhhh mum you still haven't done my teachers card..so last night was the night and Ben was very happy with the result... :).

Leigh been away on camp all week...went to Wilsons Prom on Tuesday....amazes me that no matter how old they are getting I still get the tears happening when they are leaving. I am missing him so much...he arrives home tonight at 4.30 and I cant wait too see him!!!!!!! They were actually camping and had to take all food to prepare themselves so will be real interesting to see how he coped....I bet he is starving!!!!!!.

Sad week

Ok...this week has sure been sad for my us...My father in law as been hospitalised for the past
few months with dimensa....so hard to watch a family member go through this, so very sad. Well yesterday he went to the nursing home...we took him there and it was like taking a child to his first day at school...I felt so sorry for my husband as well, for I know how I would feel if this was my parents...but we are all going to visit him regularly....I took my Sam and Max with me and they were just so well behaved was so proud of them (not a great place for a 6 and 7 year old). Thanks Sammy and Maccy for being so good~!~.

Nothing much being happening really kids are home on school holidays but the weather has been great so they have been playing outside alot. I have been applying for jobs but havent had much luck as yet!!!! Really so annoying when companies don't even have the desintsy to let you know...ergggg I really hate this.

I did this LO this week...been staring at it on my table for days and I was glad when I finished it!! It was my first attempt at doodling LOL and I definatley think I need more practice. I so love these Scenic Route papers so fun to use.

Friday am off to visit my sister Rachael and her family of 6 children. They live on the other side
of town so dont get to see them often....so am so excited!!!!!!! Her twins are just gorgeous Izabelle and Kayde and growing so fast....so stay tuned for losts of pics.

Anyway I better go and hang that dreaded washing that is just starting at me...errrrrrggggggg.

At last

At last I have scrapped a diary for myself...Yippeee!!!! Totally inspired by Donna Wild .....Just love this paper Scenic Route. Have so much mojo at the moment but never enough time. Rhys is playing in the grandfinal of cricket so that will take up most of the weekend......mmmm and kids and hubby home for the next two weeks with me...eight of us all together..wish me luck. I am going to be in need of female company big time. Plan on going to visit my adorable sister Rachael and her tribe (six kids also) on the holidays and I can't wait. I so much wish we lived closer I miss her so much. Nothing much been happening except usual washing, cooking, cleaning and Taxi service....I'm sure the day will come when I am sitting her all alone complaing that I have nothing to do. Although six boys can be exhausting I couldn't imagine my life without them.

Once again I have been a bad blogger

I really hate it when I have been neglecting my blog.....must try and come here more often. So where do I start so much happening around here!!!! My new job didn't last long...a whole two weeks wooopeeee!!!!! I actually liked it (although it was exhausting) but the boss was so hard to get along with...I don't seem to have much luck with finding something that I am content with. Its making me feel really unsettled and I don't like that but I'm sure something will come my way.
The only good thing is that I get more time to scrap...LOL....
I have been busy working on my banner tonight has taken me some time to work it all out but came across Lindsay Teague blog and she gives out great info on our to make a banner and put it onto your blog....

So its getting to that time of the year again Footy season.....the kids have been back at training for two weeks now so life is a little hectic again...but I sure do love watching them play.

Have posted some pics of Sam and Max in the pool last weekend......they have had so much fun this summer in the pool, they sure are going to miss it when the cold weather comes (if it ever comes).

Fridge Magnets for School Notices

Well this year I have decided that I really need to be organised with the school notices. In the past I have been really slack in this department....forgetting to pay for excursions etc....so I came up with this idea to make a clip for each child. I have attached a magnet to the back and put on the fridge...lets hope this works. Was so much fun too do but have only completed two I still have four too go. The kids thought they were great so lets hope they put they remember to put the notices on them.

Thanks to everyone wishing me good luck with my new job. Went really well and the boss is just so nice...I am so not used to that. I must say though my legs were killing me...but I am sure I will get used to it. I do love working the three days has definately made life easier at home.

New Job

Last week I decided to leave my job as a bookkeeper at a reception centre...it was a great place to work but the boss was the most arrogant person I have come across. After only being there for five months I decided that I don't need that stress anymore......so I start work tomorrow at local
cafe, its only part-time (3 days a week) which suits me so better and is five minutes from home and close to the kids school. It's going to be a total change for me, since returning back to work five years ago I have only worked in office positions....so I am soooooo nervous but in the same hand am looking forward to a change.

So today I was home....and it was so nice I am definately going to enjoy being home two days a week....and did I enjoy myself scrapping.....followed by a quick clean up before I picked up the kids from school LOL and I mean quick. I finally did a LO of me, been wanting to do one for ages...not too sure of the final outcome but I definately enjoyed my time scrapping.

Had to take the kids too registration day for the footy, they are so looking forward to playing again and to be honest I am looking forward to seeing them play again....although with four of them playing Sunday's sure to become hectic. So hard to believe that we are heading into footy season again.

Been a really sad day for my son Leigh today as one of the boys that died in Mildura used to go to his school......feel so sorry for all the families of the kids must be the worst thing in the world to have to cope with. I hope they offer some councelling at Leighs school for the students that were close to Cory. So so so sad.........

Anyway I have posted the LO that I completed today.

Ok I've been a bad blogger...I have just been so busy with the kids back at school. Havent had much time to scrap or get on her...these days I have to make a booking with the kids. So this year I am destined to get my own computer. I have been feeling really down, but after taking a day of work yesterday and spending a day at Sue's shop (Lost In Time) I feel heaps better. Thanks Heaps Sue for your company yesterday it sure did make me feel better. I think I was in need of some ME time. So now I have my mojo back and ready to scrap a storm.
Also wanted to say a big Congratulations to Donna Wild for her publication in Scrapbook Creations....I'm sure we are going to see alot more of your Donna....

Anyway better be off the laundry is calling me errrrgggggggg.

My sister had her twins last Wednesday...and they are the most beautiful babies. Little boy (Kayde) and Little Girl (Izabelle). I am so proud of my sister who already has four children.....So a big Congratulations to her and hubby Blair!!!!!!!

Took the kids to Phillip Island for New Years.....the weather was just fantastic...kids had a blast!!! Just so typical that the next day was raining and we had to sit in the motel all day....with six boys believe me it was a bit trying..LOL..I would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe New Year. Looking forward to a very creative year in 2006!!

LOL still trying to get used these photos I took last night of the kids in the pool.....My older son Rhys bought his girlfriend (Ashleigh) over for a swim. Just so not used to seeing a girl amongst them!!!!!!!! Well she survived the night and emailed me later that she had so much fun.
